About
I work as a Marie Curie Post-doctoral researcher at the Hans-Bredow-Institut für Medienforschung in Hamburg (Germany).
Since February 2010, I'm in charge of a project that analyses the redefinition and reposition of public service broadcasting in the multiplatform media scenario [www.psb-digital.eu].
In addition to public service media, my main research interests are media policy and regulation, connected/hybrid television and media structure.
Previously, I was focused on the field of digital television. In my PhD dissertation (2009 Pompeu Fabra University – Barcelona, Spain), which has been awarded with two research prizes (2010 – Catalan Audiovisual Council; 2006 – Fundación Autor SGAE), I compared the public policies for the implementation of digital terrestrial television carried out in Sweden and Spain.
From 2002 until the end of 2009, I worked as a researcher and associated lecturer at the Department of Communication of the Pompeu Fabra University.
Before my PhD, I obtained a Masters in Social Communication Research (2005) and a Barchelor in Audiovisual Communication (2001); both of them at the Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona).
Besides my academic career, between 1999 and 2001 I worked as a production assistant and manager in cinema, tv and advertising.
